About the role
OpenKit is an AI consultancy that helps organizations adopt AI by embedding with their teams. As Forward Deployed Engineer, you conduct AI audits via client interviews and workshops, identify operational inefficiencies, scope and build solutions, wire data sources and AI platforms into client systems, and train teams on new tools to ensure adoption. Initially you learn methodology alongside founders, then own a client portfolio and potentially lead a delivery team. No fixed tech stack, fitting AI into each client's reality including sovereign/on-premise deployments. Requires strong full-stack coding and hands-on applied AI work. £65K + performance bonus + equity. Cambridge-based with client site travel.
